THE CHILDREN'S ROOM REMODEL IS DONE AND IT'S SO BIG AND BRIGHT!  YOU'LL HARDLY KNOW YOU'RE IN A BASEMENT ANYMORE -- HONEST!  COME TO OUR OPEN HOUSE AND SEE THE NEW LOOK ON FRIDAY, MAY 24 FROM 1 - 5 P.M.  EAT A FEW SNACKS AND CHECK OUT SOME BOOKS.  WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!

DIG INTO READING AT THE LIBRARY THIS SUMMER!!!

"Dig into Reading!" is the theme for the Summer Reading Program this year!  In addition to the "At-Home" Reading Program, the Brewer Library will offer storyhours and activities for youngsters on these days and times:

Ages 3 - 6              Tuesdays              10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Grades 1 - 2           Tuesdays              1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Grades 3 - 4           Thursdays             10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Grades 5 - 7           Thursdays             12:00 - 1:30 p.m.

The program starts June 18th.  Sign up now!!!

AT-HOME READING PROGRAM

Join our "Dig into Reading!" At-Home Reading program!  Read at least 5 hours over the summer, and EARN THESE PRIZES!!!

     1.  A coupon for a free DQ ice cream cone

     2.  A free paperback book

     3.  A certificate of achievement

Kids ages 3-12 can also earn THE FOLLOWING PRIZES!!

The At-Home Reading Program is for ages 3 - adult.  Ages 13-adult can sign up at the main desk and earn prizes 1 - 3.  Ages 3-12, sign up downstairs.

ARTIST OF THE MONTH AT BREWER LIBRARY !!!

 

Brewer Library is proud to announce our revolving art show.  Each artist gets 4-6 weeks to display their work.  Our featured artist for May is Carol Kramer.  Stop by and see her beautiful watercolors and carpet murals!
